You have exclusive use of this apartment. You will not be sharing anything with other guests. We are right in the middle of downtown, on the main street. It is really fun to walk around and people on this street. All the main attractions of the city centre, like “The Big Church”, Sun Voyager, Harpa Concert Hall, Parliament Square, Town Hall, City Pond, Rainbow Street are all walking distance from our front door. There are about 100 restaurants, coffee houses and bars within walking distance.

Located in walking distance of a bus terminal, taking you to and from the airport and to various sightseeing tours of your choice. Also in walking distance: A large grocery store, a cozy café, Laugardalslaug public pool.

Lyngbær is the name of this little house, it is located in Bræðratunga in the outskirt of Mosfellsbæ, only 50 minutes drive from the International Airport. Lyngbær is surrounded with fir trees and birch, moss and mountains, with hiking trails all around, and near by is the lake Hafravatn. 2 km to the next grocery store, and 3 km to the center of Mosfellsbæ, where you can find a bakery, restaurants and library. About 600 meters to the bus stop, where you can take the bus to Reykjavík centrum.

Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

View the sunset over the lake or see the Aurora Borealis, when the conditions are right, from the deck wrapping around the house or even from the hot tub. A very comfortable large 100,4m² (1080 ft²) apartment on the third floor (no lift) for up to six persons, close to the old harbor and only 950 m from the city center in the residential area of downtown Reykjavík (101). Free public parking across the street. The house is in front of a primary school which I love because it is so alive when the children go out to play. The school started at 08:30 and you might hear the bell ringing and children and parents coming to school.

This beautiful cabin is only 40 min from Reykjavík for 4 people in two queen size beds (one bedroom and a loft). Hot tub, gas grill, wifi, Netflix, bathroom with shower and cozy fireplace. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

Cosy cottage, stunning views close to Reykjavik

A rare private base for the August 2026 solar eclipse, with panoramic views over Hvalfjörður, Eilífsdalur and Eilífstindur, a hot tub, cold plunge and large sunset deck. Our cosy cottage is only 38 km from Reykjavík but feels fantastically remote. Being situated quite high in the hill it benefits with magnificent views, overlooking Hvalfjordur, Eilifsdalur, Midfjordur and its surrounding mountains, rivers and ocean.
