This cozy 928 sq ft A-frame is located on wooded property at the foothills of Mt. Hood National forest near Sandy River. Perfect for a solo getaway, a couple’s retreat, or a small family escape. Skiing/snowboarding is 20-30 mins away. Sandy Ridge mnt biking - 5 mins away. Lots of hiking around.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Our mountain cabin is the perfect getaway whether snow or sun! This two story, two bedroom cabin is great for couples, families or small groups. Updated and well stocked, with a gorgeous view of the Sandy River. Sorry, we no longer allow pets due to an unfortunate incident with a pup, but we do have our own dogs at the cabin from time to time if you are super sensitive to pet hair.

Woodsy Dream Cabin w/ Hot Tub & Wi-Fi

Take a look at the Woodsy Dream Cabin, a lovely and comfortable spot tucked away on a large property in Rhododendron, Oregon. You can relax in the hot tub after a delightful day exploring Mount Hood. It's very peaceful and surrounded by nature, but you'll still have Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected. Perfect for simply unwinding and enjoying the cabin in the forest!

Enjoy the comforts of home in this cute and cozy A-Frame cabin, which offers both privacy and convenience to nearby activities! Located near The Resort at the Mountain, you're only 20 miles to Timberline Lodge and all of Mt. Hood's splendor. The Upper and Lower Salmon River Trailheads are just up the road, and a multitude of other hiking opportunities nearby.

This remodeled cabin is a beauty! It is architecturally unique with interesting lines, floor to ceiling windows, an open concept main floor, wood burning stove and a king sized bed in the loft. This is a great home base for exploring all that Mt. Hood has to offer and a beautiful space to relax in afterwards!
