It is west facing, w views to Volcano Conception. Located just 10 minutes outside of Balgue and ten minutes from the trailhead to Maderas lagoon, this is a convenient 'jungle' setting. Breakfast fruits, juice and a coffee, WiFi, parking, travel assistance, advice + tours of our farm included- gratis. A true island adventure!

Located above the village of Balgue we offer sweeping views of Concepcion active volcano & Lake Cocibolca. Our view is often chosen to appear in promotional videos of the island.

Situated on the foothills of a dormant volcano inside a Biosphere cloud forest Reserve we are surrounded by nature and yet only a 10minute walk from some great restaurants. This large 50m2 suite looks onto an active volcano & Lake Nicaragua. It includes in-room WIFI, en suite bathroom with solar heated hot shower & covered private porch with dining area & hammock. The suite connects internally to the well equipped shared kitchen.

Playa Colorado's Surf Resort Hacienda Iguana (#1)

This listing is for one private suite with two beds in this unique surf camp with private bath and Air Conditioning. Includes lodging, housekeeping, two pools, a full kitchen, and bar. A $100 meal package is available and highly recommended, with all meals prepared daily. The open-air 40-foot thatch palapa offers a relaxed lounge and dining space—perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Cabin, volcanoes view

Finca Montania Sagrada lies in an open space at the foot of Volcano Maderas. The property is about 50mts above lake level, off the main road and quiet. Coming here is not for everyone. The short road (400mts) to reach our gate is very stony and bumpy. Not all vehicles make it up. In the rainy seasons, May, June, September and October it becomes worst. Exploring the neighbourhood is best done walking.

Relax in the hammocks and enjoy the sounds of nature in this and educational and immersive farm-stay.

La Poza Azul - Single Room

Private single room in an eco-built cabin, surrounded by jungle on Ometepe's most remote side. Sleep with a view on the lake alongside the monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Breakfast for one included. We run a small intercultural centre onsite where you can take or give a class, workshop or talk on a variety of topics with the local community and fellow travellers.
