1960s Railway Carriage in a country station

True to the decade of when the carriage was built, it is comfortably furnished with mid-century pieces, 1960’s styled sofas, and with all modern facilities. The 'Saloon Coach' sits amidst the original railway embankments and with a stone bridge as a backdrop. Lined with trees and ferns, the green platform is frequently carpeted with wildflowers.

Malthouse Farm Carriage

We hope to welcome you to our farm, for an unique stay in our rustic, luxury carriage, with outstanding views. It has its own shower ensuite, fully equipped kitchen and luxurious comfy bed for the perfect night sleep. Although we recommend for two guests, it does have a double sofa bed, next to the bed, maybe for young families. Enjoy the views, saying hello to the cows, cosy nights, enjoying our gas bbq, while watching the sun set. All in a fully enclosed private area.

Lydham Heath Railway Carriage is at The Foxholes Campsite. The view is special, looking out towards the stunning views of the Stiperstones, LongMynd and beyond. The carriage is 50m from the shropshire way footpath, ideal for walkers looking to make the most of the South Shropshire hills. The Railway Carriage sleeps two, with a king sized bed and is dog friendly. Basic facilities; cold water tap, double induction hob, Airfryer, fridge/freezer, TV and electric heater.
