Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Relax in the main cabin, soak in the 2-person hot tub (if available) ,or take a romantic stroll through the wooded trails. Decks, trails, and boathouse access are included.

Kromer Cottage a cozy home built in 1937 and nestled in the countryside yet only 6 min. from Berea College, Historic Boone Tavern, and 15 minutes to Renfro Valley Entertainment Center. Hiking enthusiasts will find The Pinnacles of Berea nearby as well as Boone Trail Trace, and Flat Lick Falls Trail to name just a few. Delicious meals and shopping can be conveniently found in Berea. It’s 15 mins from the I75 exit in Berea KY and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Places of interest like the Berea College Campus, Owsley Fork Lake, the Indian Fort “ Pinnacles” Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls are 10 minutes away. It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

It has been renovated into a two bedroom dwelling with a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry room with all necessary supplies. The Inn is nothing fancy, but is clean and quant. Being a rustic cabin, there is no kitchen but a charcoal grill is provided as well as a fire pit. There is a portable toilet and an outdoor cold water shower close to the cabin. Feel free to bring a generator if you would like electricity.
