Only a short drive from Ohiopyle State Park, Laurel Hill State Park, Seven Springs Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, Laurel Ridge State Park, Fallingwater, and the Allegheny Passage bike trail. We are an “unplugged facility” with no WiFi or TV to ensure our guests can escape the chaos of reality and relax. Our space provides you with the basic necessities for your stay. Welcome to the Red Brick Roost Guesthouse. This historic home is the oldest brick house in Rockwood and dates to the 1870s. The house is conveniently located on Main Street in town, just .7 mile ride/walk from the Great Allegheny Passage trailhead. We also offer a locked storage area for bikes and ski equipment. We are close to other local gems: Hidden Valley, Seven Springs, the Flight 93 Memorial site, and Fallingwater. We look forward to having you roost with us!

Pap's Place

Pap’s Place is a single-wide mobile home that has been recently renovated. This property is named after the former owner, Warren Sterner, affectionately called “Pap” by his grandchildren. Warren was a railroad enthusiast. He could never work on the railroad due to the loss of an eye at a young age. This home has been decorated with prints of railroad and local scenes that Warren painted during his life.

Our cottage is a private and cozy place to get away and relax. The view from the porch or fire ring area is beautiful and very peaceful.
