Located less than a mile from restaurants, bars, m-league ball park & shops of Downtown Spartanburg, and close to Converse Univ., VCOM & Wofford College, this cozy studio cottage is the perfect place to rest your head after a busy day visiting the Upstate.

Clean and spacious mother in law suite over 1200 sq ft. Use this as your home base as you explore the SC upstate. GSP and Spartanburg less than 30 minutes away, Greenville and NC mountains less than 45 minutes away, and just ten minutes from either exit 35 or 28 on I-26. BMW, Michelin and other manufacturing plants are less than 30 minutes away. Start your day with coffee on your private deck and after a long day you can enjoy a dip in the shared pool (pool open Mid May - Mid Sept.

The apartment includes a queen, pull out queen sofa bed, optional roll out twin bed, a full kitchen, one bathroom, full laundry area, with areas for relaxing, bonfire and a gas grill. The apartment offers cozy historic decor including facts about Spartanburg and Roebuck. It's charming and includes a large room with designated area for the bed and living area, a kitchen and separate bath. We are minutes from downtown Spartanburg.

Situated in a 3+ acre gated compound surrounded on three sides by Fairforest Creek, our guest house feels like a mountain hideaway yet it's only a 3 minute drive to downtown Spartanburg. Enjoy the private patio overlooking the creek to relax or prepare a meal on the gas grill. Dogs are welcome, and we have 2 very social dogs that you will probably encounter during your stay. There's ample parking for vehicles and room to roam and enjoy the park-like setting.

This is a beautiful, cozy and sophisticated little 2 bedroom/1 bath house you will call your home for the time of your stay in Spartanburg sleeps of up to 4 guests. The newly renovated house that stays on almost an acre of fenced land is located near the heart of historic Spartanburg downtown, 5 minute drive to the Main street where most of the hassle is including great and authentic restaurants, coffee shops, music, businesses and night life.

Platts' Place Retro Retreat

The guest suite is located on the first floor of a two-story subdivision home. The suite is separated from the rest of the home by a locked door (both sides are locked.) The private guest entrance is at the back of the home. People live here though, so plan on a little noise transfer from the street and home. Parking is on site. The space is pet free, but guests are welcome to visit our pets if they need to cuddle some fur babies.
