Our pristine luxury apartment is brand new and recently decorated. Set in a beautiful & peaceful valley, between Estepona & Casares Beach, it is also near all the amenities. The beach is only 5 minutes away. Every detail has been thought off to ensure our guests feel like "home from home" and do not have to worry about anything.
We are located by the Crystal Lagoon, the largest man-made lagoon in Europe.

This lovely ground floor apartment is in block 10 , a very peaceful area, and is decorated to the highest standards,it can sleep 6 adults. It has 3 bedrooms, one a master double with en-suite bathroom and 2 twin bedded rooms, which share one bathroom.
It has a lovely living room and dinning area from which you can walk directly on to the terrace and gardens to the pool area.
Fully air-conditioned, and has a fully decorated large terrace with a very large sofa & table, and lounge area to sunbathe and 2 sunloungers. It is over 100 sq.m, it has lovely views and is in a very peaceful area.

There are 2 pools on the complex surrounded by beautifully kept gardens.
Also available for long term rental it is ideal for large families or groups. Its proximity to the golf course makes it ideal for golfers.

It has built-in ChromeCast in Guest's Bedroom

The Lagoon is exclusive for the owners and rental guests of Alcazaba Lagoon. All activities are free of charge.
Surrounded by natiure, as well as the Lagoon it also has beautiful exotic gardens and 2 pools that are open year round (not heated).

This booking is not one hundred percent refundable so please make sure you have travel insurance. If the extreme case flights are cancelled due to COVID 19, we will change your reservation to similar dates/season at no extra cost.
IMPORTANT UPDATE on extra hygiene measures being taken due to COVID 19:

All our properties are disinfected between each guests stay with alcohol & disinfectant (bleach).

By the Lagoon, it is important to indicate first that, as reported, the virus does not survive in water that has chlorine treatment, so the use of swimming pools and the lagoon is not at risk of contagion. The risk to be mitigated and decreased comes from contact between people who can pass on the virus.
That is why the following measures will be implemented:
Reorganized sun loungers and parasols to always maintain the distance recommended by the authorities of at least 2 meters.
Increase in the number of loungers available
Delivery service at the beach bar with no extra charge to owners
All the personnel of the lagoon will have facial masks
There will be temperature controls at the entrance to the lagoon
Installation in the access of a carpet with disinfectant product
Installation of automatic dispensers with sanitizing product in different places of the lagoon.
Installation of automatic disinfection systems in the bathrooms
Installation of a system for automatic misting in the beach bar to disinfect when opening and closing.
A beach area will be reserved only for the use of people over 15 years old.
The measures that we will implement are intended to help prevent contagion, but it is the users who are responsible through their behaviors who are ultimately responsible for preventing contagion, each person should take all personal precautions that they can.

Included for our guests comfort:
Our guests will receive a welcome basket with breakfast, wine, water, coffee and snacks on arrival. Soaps and toilet paper are provided and some basic cleaning products.
Sheets towels and linens are included, as well as beach towels.
Weekly housekeeping is included (in stays over 11 nights and under 28 nights).
We can also offer daily housekeeping should you require and grocery shopping.
There are also cots available to rent and high chairs for infants.
The lifts to go straight up to the apartment & there is plenty of parking outside.
Fiber optic WiFi & Satellite TV (150 international channels incl. UK free-view such as BBC)
Washing machine/Iron/Oven/Hob/Coffee machine/Kettle/Toaster/Dishwasher/Hairdryer

Properties are maintained throughout the year and fully equipped. They are fully air conditioned/heated and are available for short term and also for long term lets in low season.
There is security every evening from 6 pm to 6 am and all weekend.

I can also accommodate large families or groups as I have many apartments in the Lagoon Its proximity to the golf and beach makes it ideal for golfers, families, couples and nature lovers.

Please note: In low season (October to March) we offer discounted monthly rates of up to 40%, this does not include electricity which is charged on a cost basis at 20 cents per Kilowatt, and does not include weekly cleaning.

HOW TO USE THE LAGOON:
All activities are free of charge for owners and rental guests.
To enter the Lagoon each guest will receive a pass per bedroom in the apartment (i.e. a 3 bedroom apartment will get 6 passes). These passes are to enter the Lagoon and if any guests break the rules that guest will no longer have access to the Lagoon. Small children under 2 years of age do not need a pass. Please keep the card safe as they are expensive & difficult to replace.

Opening Dates
​The lagoon is usually open from 1st April to 30th November.

Opening Times
From 1st April to 31st May the lagoon is open from 10:00 to 18:00, 7 days a week.
From 1st June to 31st August the lagoon is open from 10:00 to 20:00, 7 days a week.
From 1st September to 30th November the lagoon is open from 10:00 to 18:00, 7 days a week.

The pools inside the Lagoon are closed during the winter.
The restaurant in the Lagoon is open from 10 till 8 in summer. Tuesdays it is closed.
There are always 4 lifeguards posted for safety reasons.
For safety & legal reasons, no swimming is permitted inside the Lagoon.
Only wind powered vessels are allowed (single hull).

It is OBLIGATORY for the Lagoon:
The use of life jackets (These are provided free of charge)
Special non-slip shoes (we recommend you bring with you).
No running as the surface is slippery
Parents must sign a consent form upon entry for all children under 18.
Adult supervision is obligatory for children under 13 at all times.
Young adults between the ages of 13 & 18, may use the Lagoon unsupervised.
No private sunbeds or sunshades are allowed.
No smoking allowed
No Glass or food of any kind
No animals
There are plenty of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards to share and life vests available free of charge.
As well as the Lagoon, the beaches and the swimming pools inside the Lagoon, they have installed various hot tubs and a sauna.. as well as a volleyball court and an open exercise area with Gym equipment.
Alcazaba Lagoon is an upmarket residential development by the Mediterranean western Costa del Sol, between Casares beach and the town of Estepona.

THE LAGOON
Home to the first ever crystal clear lagoon in Europe, just opened, the lagoon comprises of 1.4 hectares of pristine blue water and sandy beaches. LOCATION

We are only 60 minutes from Malaga Airport and 30 minutes from Gibraltar airport. Marbella and Puerto Banus are only 30 minutes by car

Very close to 2 golf courses, the 5* Finca Cortesin Hotel & Golf Resort, one of the best courses in Europe and home of the Volvo masters. The Estepona Golf Club, is within walking distance, and has a great bar and a restaurant open for Bfast and lunch (until 6pm).

The nearest beach is 2 miles away as well as 2 large supermarkets (only a 5 minute drive).

Alcazaba Lagoon lies within the bounds of the village of Casares, a “white village”, known for the beauty of its cliffs and wildlife, walking routes, and great beaches with the best coves for swimming, fishing and scuba diving.

The Costa del Sol enjoys one of Europe’s particularly special ecosystems. Not only does it have an exceptional number of sunny days, it is also protected from the winter winds by a chain of mountains, and has a milder climate in the summer.

ESTEPONA:
Estepona a midsized town, once a quiet fishing town, it is a little smaller than the busy Marbella and very family friendly. It has a beautifully kept old historical part, with cobbled streets and a typical Andalucian feel. The town centre is pedestrian and the streets are beautifully decorated with lovely potted geraniums. It has an Orchidarium and botanical garden, the largest in Europe. Also it is famous for its street murals and there is a very interesting walking tour to see over 30 of them. There are many quaint shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and tapas bars. At night it is lovely to go out and dine here and enjoy the atmosphere. 
On Wednesday they have a large outdoor market, with ceramics, clothes and fresh fruit and vegetables. The port has a Sunday Market and many restaurants. There are 2 ports nearby, Estepona Port and also Duquesa Port, with plenty of nightlife and restaurants. 
Another recommendation is to drive or cycle up to Sierra Bermeja mountain and its national park, over 1500 meters above sea level from here you can enjoy stunning views and nature. From here you can also visit the local white villages of Gaucin, Casares, Jubrique and Genaguacil “the village of the artists”. 
Also we have our own Safari park Selwo, which is 10 minutes by car, and many different beaches and resorts. Estepona also has outdoor karting for the kids. In Algeciras there is a great Aquapark which is only 30 minutes away.

I am Tania, and I live and work in Estepona,on the Western Costa del Sol. I am half Dutch, quarter British and quarter Italian but have lived here almost my whole life so I feel more Spanish than anything else. I studied Hotel Management, and since 2016 own a boutique management and rental company called Bright Property Management and Alcazaba Lagoon Rentals. I love my work, and started helping with my family & friend's properties rentals. I now have a small team, my sister Marcella to help with check-ins and Debbie who takes care of admin, as well as some lovely cleaning ladies Juani & Aroa. I have traveled a lot and know how important it is to arrive, and everything is taken care off. We hope to make your stay as lovely as possible. I am around if you need me. You will probably find me around Estepona, a very special sea side town, with lots of great restaurants and an amazing beach promenade that goes on for miles, or at Alcazaba Lagoon, such a beautiful place. Surrounded by nature and with a Lagoon that is unique in all of Europe, these ultra modern apartments are exquisitely decorated and have all the amenities you need for a relaxing break. :-)

I will meet you at the property on arrival. If you have not already done so, we will need your mobile phone number, your flight numbers, as well as arrival and departure times, and how you will be traveling from the airport so we can meet you at the property on time;
I live out of town and late nights are not usually possible for me to meet you, but we are able to leave keys with the guard at the entrance of the Lagoon (but please check with me first).
When you are leaving the airport in the rental car please SMS or call me so I can meet you on arrival. Do inform me if there are any delays.
We kindly ask you to please not stop on the way, in the supermarket or to eat, as we have to carefully plan guests arrivals, and this helps us not to keep other guests waiting (PS also we do have drinks on arrival for you ready)
Check in time is 4pm-8PM but if the apartment is free you may check in earlier.
I will also need a list of the names and ages of your party, to make sure the property is suitable
If anything should happen I will be on call 24 hours for emergencies, and available during the day should you need any information to help with your stay.
If you need we have a very good transfer taxi service with small and large vehicles, as well as cots, high chairs, zbeds for rent and babysitting services.
