Entire 2 bed house in Pittsburgh's Northside on a quiet street this 2 story, 2 bed, 1 bath house accommodates 4 total people. AC window units in bedrooms. 2.5 miles from the north shore, Rivers Casino, The Aviary, Children's Museum, Andy Warhol Museum, Mattress Factory, James St Pub, Max's Tavern, Heinz Field, PNC Park, Stage AE, Allegheny General Hospital, Kindred Hospital, downtown and the convention center. Walking distance to Riverview Park and Trio's corner store.

Cozy two story, two bedroom, one bathroom detached house on a hill ( Observatory Hill that is.) Parking is a BIG DEAL with this listing and if you've done your homework that is apparent. ONE VEHICLE MAX, any violation of that will end your stay immediately. Zero tolerance across the board with my rules. If you can't respect that move on right now.

Urban living on a culturally diverse and typically calm / quiet side street. The home is NOT suitable for small children, there is absolutely zero child proofing, many steep steps, and I will not permit the potential for any little ones coming to harm at the property. There is a steep 25 step walk up to the porch, which again is not safe for the little ones or anyone with mobility issues. The property has a kitchen, dining room and living room on the first floor, laundry in the basement, and both bedrooms and only bath on the second floor.

The house is turn key with all the essentials. Disposables like toilet paper, soap / shampoo, paper towels, hand sanitizer etc will be stocked upon your arrival. However this is only typically an extended stay offering and you will be responsible for all your own disposables beyond your arrival.

This is an old but maintained house. It was lightly refurbished in 2018. What does that mean? Well to be blunt, this is a modest OLD house that has been well maintained. While it's far from shiny and new, everything works and small updates are done between guests' stays. The carpet has some stains. The furniture has some dings. A picture is worth 1,000 words, so save me the typing and look at the pictures :)

COVID - The house is typically for extended stays. It takes me no less than a week to clean and prep for the next guests. No spaces are shared. If you are looking for a place to quarantine I only ask you inform me as to keep everyone safe.

The intent of the listing is weekly - long term stays that may typically be renewed, unless your party becomes a nuisance ( see rules and parking .) Your oppinion on the matter has no bearing on anything. By booking my property you have agreed to all published rules on the listing regardless if you read it or not. I've had problems. I will not tolerate problems. Locals are not welcome, do not waste my time inquiring.

This is not a hotel, yes you do pay to stay, and no that does not grant you any privilege outside of the terms of the agreement set forth in ALL the various areas of the platform. Don't request to book if you are not comfortable with EVERYTHING listed in the rules. 9 out of 10 requests is some sort of scam, so keep that in mind when you request.

Failure to follow the rules will be met with immediate physical ejection from the property. The instant you break the rules you become a trespasser and will be dealt with as such. Ya dig?

No Entertaining if other people are going to be in the property they need to be registered guests. Why? That's the rules, if this is not agreeable then do not request to book, the answer will remain no, and i will decline your request. I've been confronted about this one so here's why: If you read on you'll learn that parking here is available but in large for only one vehicle. In the winter it snows and parking is greatly reduced. Thanks to covid everyone on the street is already on edge. Having some guests that reside for a few months that abuse the neighborhood and then leave is not acceptable, nor does it really align with the spirit that airbnb presents. If you disagree with this policy that's fine, please don't request to book as again the answer will be no.

Accessibility
Simply put this home is not for the "accessibility impaired " or children. Be aware that there is a steep set of 25 stairs you must walk up to this house. It's been that way for almost 100 years, direct any complaints to the builders.

Quiet Neighborhood Street
This is a quiet street. For the most part all the neighbors know each other. Children play in the street in the warm weather, and this is a city so things happen from time to time. This is not a party house. This is lodging for people who want an affordable, conveniently located space to call home temporarily. No one wants to hear you, if anyone can you will be removed. If you can't handle that seek other lodging. I have zero tolerance for nonsense.

Parking
ONE VEHICLE ONLY! On street parking only AS DICTATED. As mentioned this is a neighborhood so while it is non-permit street parking, we are all very considerate of our normal parking spots. Granted from time to time parking is thrown off because a single vehicle parks wrong. As you will be inhabiting one of the homes in the neighborhood, you are expected to maintain the flow of parking. Thankfully you have me to guide you. To ensure you as guests do not throw off this very delicate balance, I will provide very specific parking instructions after you've booked. There is typically a spot directly in front of the house. There are a few older neighbors that have their own spots on the street, i will inform you of where NOT to park. At this point i believe I've made my parking restrictions apparent. A single reminder is an irritant to me. If I have to ask a second time you will be removed.

Observatory Hill ( Old Allegheny City ) Pittsburgh's North Side. Located approximately 2 miles from Point State Park / the confluence / the center point of the city for all intent and purpose. This is a residential neighborhood, the "business district" consists of a sandwich shop and corner store, neither likely points of interest for many. Bus stop at the top of the street, uber / lyft, but Pittsburgh is a driver's city - don't let the magazines fool you. Easy access to downtown. About 20 minutes from the airport. Two turns to 279.

I like respecting other peoples property and being quiet.

Beyond seeing you coming or going I do not interact with guests in person except for a few exceptions, and they are all basically "if you need assistance, but more so if you break the rules, you get booted, and I'm booting you personally."

1. If you need anything or anything goes wrong with the property I'm right next door to fix it.

2. If you did not follow the parking instructions - YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY MEET ME AND I WILL NOT BE AT ALL HOSPTIABLE. See the rules, focus on parking.

3. If I hear you - This is NOT a party house. No unregistered guests at all. Max 4 people. Quite time is 10pm - but actually 24/7 - this quiet street will remain quiet with or without you.

4. I can absolutely provide any "local" info you are in search of although as of March 2020 we are in large closed at the governor's order. Badamo's Pizza is open though, you really won't need anything else.
