Bernie's is a super comfortable home base for friends, family, and pets to relax after a day outside. A totally unique setting: stay inside the living quarters of a historic church! Completely renovated with much care to preserve the features that give the space great character and authenticity. Your suite has 3 separate bedrooms, a generous living space, dining area, private laundry and a fully equipped kitchen. Relax in our bright spacious upper suite in a charming heritage home, offering the peace and privacy of a quiet cabin—right in downtown Castlegar. Wake up to complimentary coffee, bread, eggs, or oatmeal, then enjoy the morning sunrise and mountain views of Mt Sentinel and the Bonington Range in the warmth of the sunroom. Located in the center of the Kootenays, between Red Mountain, Whitewater and endless backcountry winter adventures. Comfort, charm, and beautiful scenery all in one stay.

Delightful one bedroom log cabin

Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. This unique cabin has a sink with running water, a fridge, micro wave and a coffee bar with a coffee machine where you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on a barstool. A very comfortable couch is pulled out into a double bed. There is a picnic table on the porch. This cabin comes with its own outhouse for your safety.

By the Lake

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Rossland Bike Retreat 1: Red Mountain

A 10-minute drive from the slopes of Red Mountain Resort, Rossland Bike Retreat is the perfect jumping-off point for your adventure in the Kootenays. We have 2 identical cabins to rent; each one accommodates 4 people. If you would like to book both cabins simultaneously please message me. You'll find complete serenity in this mountain escape, with a view that will put a fresh perspective on any outlook. Be it snow or dirt you're after, we'll help you discover the trails you seek.

Kootenay View -A Bit of Heaven

Our beautiful 1100 sq.ft executive 2 bedroom suite boasts exceptional unobstructed views of the Kootenays. The 800 sq.ft private deck provides a place to enjoy the sensational sunrises and a BBQ to prepare meals at sunset. Gourmet kitchen contains everything you need, or we are just a short 5 minute walk to town. Off street parking, separate entrance with keypad, and laundry included. Guests have access to a ski locker at Red Mountain and secure bike storage on the premises.

Rixen Creek Mini Cottage

Cute and cozy mini cottage nestled in old growth forest between 2 creeks. Very peaceful and quiet. Lots of light, it has 19 windows! Try out the micro home lifestyle! Less than 5 minutes to Skiing, Biking, Hiking and Golfing. Two blocks to our quaint downtown shopping/eating area. Quiet and comfortable large studio with dream bed, cozy gas fireplace and a spacious beautiful kitchen. Private covered entrance and lots of storage for golf clubs, bikes and skis/boards. The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed. Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Mill Street Studio

This lovely little stand-alone studio is cozy and close to everything. Located in a fun and quiet part of downtown Nelson, it’s the perfect place for active visitors! The Studio is a few blocks from Oso Negro Coffee Shop, Nelson Brewing Company & taproom, historic Baker Street and a Whitewater Ski Area shuttle stop. There is a convenient off street parking space right next to the accommodation. Coffee and tea are provided for your enjoyment.

2 Bedroom Private Suite with Hot Tub in Rossland

Located in the peaceful Rossland neighbourhood of Happy Valley is our 2 bedroom private guest suite with private hot tub and deck. Enjoy the extensive trail system at our doorstep or take a 10 minute walk to downtown Rossland. Red Mountain is a 10 minute drive. NO CLEANING FEE PETS ARE NEGOTIABLE We welcome pets most times.
