Generally my favorite SXSW spot. Just about everything east of I-35 is unofficial SXSW, meaning no badges, no lines, and reasonable crowds. In the East 6th area of bars.

Fair warning: it looks terrifying from the outside, but once inside you'll find live blues 6 nights a week and the best staff and clientele of any bar in the city. Walking distance from the house.
