Walking from Andrassy into Hajos street, there will be a BUTCHER'S on your right hand side under house number 21. Try having a buther's lunch here, it's very Hungarian and yummy. Roast meat and sausages and pickles+bread standing up :-)

Great place left here from the 70s in style, but very nice home-style Hungarian food for very little money :-D

Great place close to the apartment for a hearty breakfast (hot and cold) - the breakfast selections is more than great here!!! healthy juices, salads, sandwiches, coffee and more.

The coolest outdoor bar ny the Danube!!! Must visit! Famous for heavy metal and punk concerts but has a lovely outdoor garden and you can just show up and buy prepared meat fro grilling on the spot.

Great place for chilling. There is a small zoo about midway down the island. Also a fountain that plays music (closer to the entrance of the island) and lots of alleys for an inspiring walk or chill.
