The best sushi in town, we'd actually go as far as saying it's the best sushi out of Japan (we've never been to Japan!) but the sushi here is wonderful. Try the Salmon and Pickled Pineapple! Great cocktails in the bar too and the back section turns into a nightclub late on. Savage spot.

They do a great early bird here and a pretty decent brunch. They also serve mimosas and the likes with brunch which is always a winner - especially if you're on your holiday! Nice coffee here too.

This little Tapas place is bang in the middle of Temple Bar but won't break the bank. The tapas, pinxtos and wine are super tasty and not too pricey. It's mainly candle lit so you feel like you're in a cave bar in Spain.

This place has been around for years, and the food is delicious. If you book a table ahead, ask for a window seat so you can see the Ha'Penny bridge whilst you eat. The early bird is good value here and there's a good choice on the menu.

This place is a middle eastern brunch spot. You might have to queue at the weekend but they are usually pretty quick in getting you seated. Eggs are good, coffee is good, crowd is good.

Ok these guys only do burgers. Hamburger, Double-hamburger, Cheese Burger, Double-cheese burgers. They are beyond EPIC. Don't be going anywhere else for a burger. Please, you will only be disappointed and wondering the whole time you're eating it - is this as good as a Bunsen Burger? You'll have to queue but please remember - good things come to those who wait.

This place doesn't have Michelin Stars - but it should. €55 for a tasting menu of pure delight. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment. Probably Dublin's best kept secret for a romantic evening. Not too stuffy but super lovely.

These guys pretty much only do chicken wings, another irish classic. It's tucked away a up Montague St. which is a short enough stroll from Stephen's Green. Finger lickin' good!

This is a Rooftop bar, you can sit inside or outside. The restaurant inside has views of the whole of the city - it's as good, if not better than the Guinness Storehouse views. Great cocktails, woodfired pizza and a full menu of good food. A bit on the pricey side but worth it for the view. Good tunes here at the weekend. They do a good brunch too!

This is a hidden gem in Temple Bar - the pizzas are fantastic, the cocktails are cracking and the bar itself is so beautiful.

Decent, fresh, and I'm pretty sure it's kinda healthy Asian food. It's so relaxed - you get your food served to you in a take out box - and the best bit is you get an ice cream cone to pull your own ice cream once you've finished your noodles.

Indian food is my favourite. It's on my last supper list. Being from the UK where Tikka Masala is the official national dish I've been disappointed so many times in Ireland on their take of a good curry. These guys are Pickle have nailed it. It's quite pricey but a great spot for a fantastic dinner.

These places are dotted all over time. The coffee is good, but the best bit is that you get a FREE little chocolate with every hot drink. Nice for a little pick me up on a shopping / site seeing day.

The place is an institution and a slice of a real, traditional Irish pub, bang in the middle of the city. There's loads of local art on the wall. Sit in front of the fire on a cold day, or outside on a sunny day and there will probably be street music, and loads of people watching!

I've written about this in the restaurant recommendations but I have to write it up here too as it's a cracking pint of Guinness in a lovely old Victorian pub. It's our local. We love it.
