The historic Lalbagh Fort is located in Lalbagh by the River Buriganga in Old Dhaka (purano Dhaka) and its well-tended gardens and the incomplete structures being the main attractive Mughol ruins dating from the 17th Century. It was first built under the realm of Prince Mohammed Azam, Mughol Emperor Aurangzeb's third son.
