Mud City has been serving fresh seafood for 20 years in the area. They are the quintessential seafood house with offerings ranging from blue claw crabs to fresh fish; they are known for their Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. Also, they provide options for non-seafood lovers, such as a filet mignon, roasted chicken and a few others.
They do not take reservations nor call-ahead seating. There is an outside patio, where you can order apps and drinks while you wait. It is a BYOB restaurant with the pleasure of offering a limited bar menu, too.

Hotel LBI is located as soon as you arrive on the island. It has a beautiful rooftop bar with sweeping water views. There is also an indoor lounge bar offering food and drinks.

Viking Village is close to the lighthouse and showcases the history behind a small fishing town. The old shacks have been renovated and turned into small shops. One can view the large fishing vessels still in operation today. One or two eateries are located within the village, too.

If you are into getting outdoors, take a stroll over the Causeway Bridge and inhale the sea air! It is about a 1.5 mile walk to reach the island or stop along the way to fish off one of the rails along the waterway. A great pit stop along the route is The Boatyard.
