I recommend jog/walk along Spring Street which is a nice and quiet all the way to the water and along the vegetable farms, then down to the beach. Walk towards Brighton le sands for a coffee/meal and take a bus back to Rockdale and train or bus or walk back home.
I usually jog to the beach from home along Spring Street all the way to the sea and along the beach to Brighton Le Sand where I have my cappuccino and sometimes lunch/dinner at La Piazza where I find the best pizza and pasta in the neighbourhood.
