Beach Day
Marazion beach is in a bay so, it’s often very calm and still, perfect for paddle boarding and young children.
Jordan’s cafe is situated in one of the car parks and serves fabulous takeaway food and great coffees.
You can hire SUP boards at the Hoxtan special situated along the beach just past the car park towards Longrock, they also serve good coffee and ice creams.

Fabulous Sandy surf beach, 10 mins drive from Sowena.
The Sandbar cafe looks out over the sea, serves great food and Sunday lunches.

The Sandbar cafe looks out over the sea, serves great food and Sunday lunches.
Lovely sandy beach only 5 mins drive from Sowena. You can also walk there along the coast path. The Cabin cafe sits just above the beach, it has a huge garden area. They do delicious food and have pizza nights too. Highly recommended.
You can chill on the beach or find small little rocky inlets to swim from, with no one around.
Great surf beach.

Perranuthnoe
Lovely sandy beach only 5 mins drive from Sowena. You can also walk there along the coast path. The Cabin cafe sits just above the beach, it has a huge garden area. They do delicious food and have pizza nights too. Highly recommended.

Sennen cove is 20 minute drive from Sowena. This huge sandy, blue flag beach is great for swimming, surfing and learning to surf. Smart surf school is situated next the the Blue lagoon fish and chip restaurant. They also have a webcam on their website so you can check the weather and conditions before you head over. Even if it’s bright sunshine in Marazion it could be foggy on another beach or coast. It’s good to check ahead. Or even see where the sun is if it’s overcast in Marazion.
