Located in Capitol Hill, this is one of our favorite places (especially for a rainy day).
Founded by a husband and wife team, Optimism brewing is a brewery, not a brewpub, which makes great beers! They host an ever-changing group of family-owned food trucks parked in our beer garden. In addition, you are free to bring take-out food from local restaurants, or have food delivered to the brewery. Kids and dogs are welcome as well!
Need somewhere to spend some time before check in? This is a great spot. It's close to the streetcar that goes to the house, and there's lots of space if you have bags.
Want to get a big group together? You can reserve tables free of charge for groups fro 8-20 people.

Be sure to get a reservation, but MBar is one of the best rooftop bars in Seattle. Beautiful views on a clear day, and their appetizers are best for happy hour.

Seattle has a series of street cars and light link trains that allow you to explore the city without the need for a car. The light link trains runs from the Airport to the UW campus, and connects with the street cars in downtown and capitol hill. We're lucky to have a street car stop almost directly outside of the house, with connection to the stadiums and capitol hill
