With several trailheads within walking distance, you'll have easy access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. Fish in crystal-clear lakes, spot wildlife, and stargaze under the Milky Way in our dark sky community.

Beautiful unique house with a taste of wilderness

This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

Fresh, clean, modern stand alone cottage with queen-over-queen bunk beds, sleeping 4 total guests. 425 sq.ft studio cottage with efficiency kitchen, living & dining area - mountain views from all corners of the cottage. Full bathroom with tub & shower. Family-friendly unit. No pets allowed. Please enter the total number of guests (adults + children) when reserving. Consider booking additional cottages on this property if you are traveling as a group - 5 cottages sleep a total of 10 people.

The Skylight Chalet

Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in Rockies looking at the stars through the skylights. The Skylight Chalet is quite small but ideal for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a restored building in nature <15 mins from downtown Salida. We designed the Skylight Chalet with two queen beds, a covered outdoor deck, and a hanging table surrounded by glass for 4 to eat. We've worked hard designing the Skylight Chalet. Glamping on the Arkansas -Trout

Get back to nature comfortably! This Glamping Tent, located in the Sweetwater River Resort is a nature-lover’s, outdoor enthusiast’s, fly-fishing-fanatic’s dream nestled on the banks of the beautiful juniper-lined Arkansas River. The property has over a mile of river access, 0.6 of a mile on both sides with easy access to the river on trails that parallel the river. To access the opposite side of the river from the campground, an elevated swinging bridge is suspended across the river.
