A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.

Big bright flatlet on the canals amongst the trees

A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
