On the Bourbon Trail The Buffalo Springs Distilling Company got it's start in 1868. It closed and it's warehouses were emptied out by the 1970's. This building is one of the last structures left on the site. This historic building was the main office and gatehouse for visitors to the distillery, so we can offer one bedroom due to the size of the structure. There's a Queen size bed and plenty of room for a couple or perhaps a 3rd and 4th person that can use the couch and our Queen air bed.
We live in the heart of the bluegrass! We live just: 10 minutes from Old Friends Farm 15 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park 30 minutes from UK and Keeneland 30 minutes from 5 distilleries 35 minutes from The Ark Encounter We live on a small 6 acre farm with 2 sheep, 2 goats, 2 cows, 2 chickens, and a dog & cat. Our house is a lovely combination of 2 houses in 1. We live in one part of the house, and rent out the other section. Come stay in the 1950s era farmhouse!
No neighbors! It’s not a big or fancy place but it’s clean, simple, and relaxing. The stars are brightest in the country when enjoying the fire pit. Our two story cabin has 1BR with two double beds, full kitchen, full bathroom, recliners, and grills. It's perfect for couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter, Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and several distilleries are all within an hour of the cabin. This is a great place to relax between visits to these attractions.
