The Cottage

The Cottage is a traditional cottage in the picturesque Highland village of Shieldaig which has been carefully extended and refurbished to provide comfortable high quality accommodation for up to 5 guests. We are located close to the pier and the walled front garden borders the sea. There are also extensive secluded rear gardens to explore. The village has good amenities. Alltan is a modern house situated right on the NC500 on the foot of Beinn Shieldaig. It has a private drive and a large garden. Wifi is available. The accommodation is self-catering and includes continental breakfast ingredients, i.e. tea, coffee, eggs, cheese, yoghurts, cereal, milk, toast and fruit are available to guests. Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions.
