The surrounding areas provide a beautiful route for taking hike up to bagora and dara(local places) while passing by monasteries and small villages from where they can enjoy the panoramic view of Riang river flowing through the valley filled with tea garden and the majestic Kanchenjunga in the backdrop. We believe in growing our own at our kitchen garden where our guests can choose from a variety of delicious organic vegetables to savour. Other activities like outdoor camping, cycling, Barbecue and bonfire can be pre booked.

The homestay is run by my wife, Pema and me, we manage the 44-acre mountain farm which consists of open mixed forest of pine, Himalayan alder, schima, chestnut, magnolia, rhododendrons, cherry also farm cardamom, ginger, mangoes, peaches and tea. The accommodation is simple and rustic with wood paneled room

My homestay is located at Temi Tea Estate from where you can get one of the famous teas of the region. My place has a mesmerizing view right from the moment you start entering the area. The tea garden view and the amazing aroma of the tea coming from the garden, the homely experience, the feel of local culture and the homemade local food adds to the worthwhile experience one can have during their stay here.
