Mt Cooper Cottage is situated on a working sheep property. It was built to be the cook house for shearers in the 19th century, with historic significance. The integrity of the rustic charm remains with modern amenities for your convenience. The cottage is 1.5 hours drive from Jindabyne and 1.5 hours drive to the coast. The main heating is a wood fuel heater, you will need to be able to light a fire. Altitude approx 1000mtrs the climate is cold in winter, often cold during other seasons.

It has spectacular views to the snowy mountains and easy access to Jindabyne and its beautiful lake, the ski resorts for winter skiing and summer mountain biking and hiking. The accomodation has one queen bed in the bedroom and two single beds in the loft area. We accommodate a maximum of four people only. There is no EV charging at this property. There is no smoking while on this property.
