Newly built/designed cabin on the 'quietside' of Mount Desert Island (in the town of Southwest Harbor). A short drive to downtown, this one bedroom with loft cabin is warm and cozy. With gas fireplace, AC unit, and all the amenities one would need to begin and end a perfect day in Acadia National Park, it is situated close to nearby hikes, water access for boating, sailing, and ocean kayaking. Southwest Harbor has many wonderful restaurants, lobster pounds, coffee shops, galleries, and shopping.

Welcome to your home away from home in Bar Harbor while visiting Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island. This cozy, affordable getaway retreat offers superior privacy in a bucolic rural, setting. Spectacular sunset views and a central location only minutes to trails, carriage road bike paths, and downtown shops and restaurants. Sunday to Saturday only rental for enhanced cleaning. There is covered bicycle storage, a fire pit, free use of canoe, paddles, life jackets and car topping gear.

You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Trail House

Explore the wonders of Acadia National Park from the backyard of this serene cabin on Mt. Desert Island. This fully stocked two bedroom, two bathroom cabin provides direct access to the incredible trails of Acadia, including an easy hike to the carriage road system. If you prefer to bike, the carriage road bike entrance is a short ride away. The town of Northeast Harbor is just down the road for the best donuts, coffee, and small town shopping around! Explore it all from the Trail House.
