The Mill, cob house.

Set in a peaceful garden with a pond, this cob house would suit travelers interested in natural Earth building.Built originally to house a stone mill, the cob house still mills fresh flour when unoccupied. Perfect for a couple and a roll out mattress can be provided for a child or third person.This abode is for the adventurous with it's composting toilet and small solar geyser. There is a pizza oven you can use with fresh flour when the miller is home. 'Artists cottage' is on the same property.

Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Oasis

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside.
