Hiking trails are located at Polly's Cove, Peggy's Cove, sandy beaches are just a 5-40 min drive, and Oceanstone Spa is a 5 min walk. It is ideally suited for stays up to 3 weeks.

You'll feel like you're in the country in this quiet corner of our garden, just a pitter patter from the lake.

Castle Bay Cottage

This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.
