It is located barely 200 meters from Morjim Beach, known as nesting and hatching habitat of fabled Olive Ridley sea turtles and golden sands. It is situated (150 meters) on the northern bank of the Chapora river estuary. One can either walk leisurely along the windy Chapora river on one side or stroll directly to get to the beach for breathtaking views.

Ooty- White Limewash Mud house in Majorda

'Ooty' was once the kitchen in the older Hindu side of the house, with thick, mud walls. It has a church roof and is all white. It has a built in large double bed and an L-shaped sofa that could be used for a couple of children or a relaxed adult. It leads off from the small central courtyard where there are four chairs around a table. This is overlooked by the Lorryback bar so can be noisy depending on who is staying. Probably not suited to young children or dare I say, old ladies.
