Glennhouse Getaway is an elevated nature escape that is conveniently located between downtown South Haven, Douglas and Saugatuck, MI. It is beautifully surrounded by a private beach, sand dunes, driftwood, beach stones, and Lake Michigan. Enjoy the wrap around spacious deck, gameroom, the sunset on the beach (only 7min walk) or the stars at night by the firepit. Any meals can be enjoyed on our three season porch as well. The District 5 Schoolhouse was historically built "with not a single nail in the structure" in the 1800's. It still stands as a symbol of dedication to craftsmanship and community. Lovingly restored, preserving as much of the original soul as possible, it promises to be a luxury stay in understated sophistication with 100% linen sheets, beautiful kitchen/dining, lovely private outdoor space, tranquil idyllic work/recharge areas, and enough space to make your own history. The Gathering place is a "barndominium" studio that sleeps 4 comfortably, just 10 miles to South Haven beaches and SW Michigan wine trails. Relax in the studio and private patio with family or invite some friends and park a camper right outside! This unique space offers a full hookup for friends to join! The studio feature a king size bed with a full size mattress that slides underneath. Stay comfortable with AC, electric fireplace, WIFI, TV, gas grill, patio with firepit and hot tub!

The Bear Cave log Cabin is secluded with a hiking trail connecting to North Point County Park that leads to the beach. The Van Buren State Park beach/campground access is 0.5 miles away. The Fields General Store is right next door. The Cabin is located 3 miles from the city of South Haven. Relax on the screened porch, around the fire pit, hiking to the beach, or simply inside enjoying the log home.
