One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Peedie Cott, Orkney

Peedie Cott is a beautiful one bedroom house in the picturesque village of St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney, perfect for a couple or an individual visitor. Peedie Cott is within walking distance from the ferry to Scottish mainland and, is also on the main bus route to Kirkwall and Stromness. Peedie Cott has an open plan spacious living area with log burner, and a retro style kitchen from which you can go outside and sit on the deck. Upstairs in the bedroom, is a king size bed and plenty of storage.

We now have wifi installed Situated in the middle of our quiet village we have a modern 2 bedroom flat one double bedroom and one twin room with well equipped kitchen / lounge The flat is within walking distance of Pentland Ferries terminal. Also within the village we have shops and pubs with a great bus service leaving every hour heading to Kirkwall (15 miles) and on wards to stromness (30miles) We also are able to provide free parking

The Auld Kitchen

Our beautifully restored self catering cottage is located on the island of Burray linked by road via the Churchill barriers to the mainland of Orkney and is attached to our family home. We have kept and restored some of the old beautiful features like the exposed stone walls and stone floor we have also installed a new multi fuel stove for cosy nights around the fire
