Not to mention the famous old Tom Morris golf course is 2 miles from the property, where you will find a lovely little clubhouse to enjoy some food or beverages. Our boathouse is perfect for couples, tastefully decorated with a nautical theme throughout. You will find everything you need at our property and should you require any special requests, birthday celebrations, engagement, etc then we will be more than happy to help.

The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Situated in the quiet village of Lochboisdale, just a stones throw from the ferry terminal. Birdsong is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

This unique place has a style all its own. Newly renovated to a very high standard, this chalet offers high end accommodation in one of the most picturesque villages, North Glendale on South Uist. It is fifty metres away from the sea to the front of the chalet, 50 metres away from a fresh water fishing loch where you can catch brown trout for your dinner. The wild life is abundant, golden eagles, sea eagles, hen harriers and many more wild birds can be see from your doorstep.

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

A self catering pod in a quiet area, five minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach on the west coast of South Uist. Close to the renowned golf course designed by old Tom Morris. The chalet is set in a stunning location, nestled snugly amongst the hills of Locheynort on the shoreline of a breath-takingly beautiful bay. The chalet is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and is also an excellent spot from which to explore the neighbouring islands, either by car across causeways or by taking ferry journeys to Barra in the south or Harris/Lewis in the north.
