"Punga Lodge" the Mountain Sanctuary

Punga Lodge is 20 mins SE of Cambridge 10 mins from Lake Karapiro, hosting everything from Rowing World Cups to Hydroplane racing, waterski comps and triathalons. It is 20 mins away from Hobbiton and the entrance to MEI Sanctuary. Being 1 hr drive from Raglan, Mt Maunganui, Taupo and Rotorua. We aim to provide clean and comfortable indoor outdoor living while enjoying beautiful views, peace and tranquility whilst relaxing in your own mountain hideaway with amazing stargazing opportunities.

The Shed

A private, modern, spacious 2 bedroom guesthouse only 3 kms from Tokoroa In a lovely rural setting. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and full kitchen facilities are available with quality equipment for guests to use. Location is only 55 kms from Taupo and Rotorua and only 30kms from the famous Putaruru Blue Spring walkway, one hour drive to Hamilton, 45 minute drive to Hobbiton and Mystery Creek. Cougar Park Mtn Bike track is only 5km away. Great central location in the Sth Waikato.

The Loft Cambridge

Loft self contained accommodation in central rural Waikato. Only 15 mins to Lake Karapiro and 20 mins to Cambridge, Hobbiton and Waikato river Trails. The accommodation is fully equipped for a weekend stay (or longer). Kitchenette with Fridge/Freezer, microwave, jug, toaster, electric fry pan, BBQ (pots supplied can be used on it). Feel free to roam through to the Bathhouse garden and take a coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the amazing view of the Waikato River and surrounding farm land.

The quiet gettaway is a peaceful and private unit. Guests are able to feel at home and relax amongst nature. The unit faces a reserve full of trees that provide gorgeous sunset views. Tokoroa is an ideal location for travelers wanting to explore the central North Island. It is short driving distance to many great NZ attractions. The accommodation is located on the edge of a small and friendly rural town. Beautiful green Waikato country side with dairy farms are next to the reserve.

Unit 4 - 2 bedroom furnished unit (Poplar View)

This 2 bedroom unit is up a long driveway. It is a fully self contained fully furnished unit with a heatpump (hot and cold). Room 1 has a queen bed, and Room 2 has 2 singles (all bedding supplied). It has a fully equipped kitchenette. Shower (no bath). All you need are your clothes and food. Only about 10 kms from Putaruru, 5 kms from Arapuni, and within 30 mins to Tokoroa, Cambridge or Te Awamutu, with Rotorua and Hamilton only about an hour away. It is located on a working farm.

A central Waikato location. Animals on the property include a couple of cows, a small flock of sheep (lambs in spring) and small dog.
