The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

The Art Barn

Reconnect with nature in the forest oasis and former art studio of South African artist and fashion designer, Harvey Rothchild. Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. Converted Stone Barn

The rustic charm of a converted stone barn set in the majestic Drakensberg mountains. A hop, skip and a jump off the N3, situated in in the Van Reenen Eco Village Precinct. Down the road from the little church tea garden. A great one night stop off. Breakfast at the Tea Garden (not included) or take a early morning walk before continuing with your journey. Dinner pre-ordered for delivery. Good parking for Caravans and trailers. The Dairy is literally an old milking parlour which has been turned into spacious accommodation on this working dairy farm. The unit has a more modern feel to it than the Farmhouse. Lovely views of the dam & Outeniqua mountains and a big "farm pool" with deck. Wood-fired hot tub on a wooden deck on the patio.
