Several winter trails close by for snowmobiling and snowshoeing.

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Our cozy cabin is an excellent getaway for anyone who just wants to be surrounded by everything that Central Oregon has to offer. With the National Forest and the La Pine State park just a few minutes away, there are options for hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or ATV rides. During the winter season, activities such as snowboarding, skiing, sledding, and snow mobile rides are only within 40 minutes away at Mt. Bachelor. City life in Bend is only 30 min away.

The Ripple Rock Lodge offers amazing views of The Rogue River Gorge and Lost Creek Lake. The lodge has a large patio with ambient lighting, and both gas and charcoal grills! This place is an amazing two story log cabin in rural outback Oregon... wildlife refuge, pictographs, hot spring, Fremont wilderness area, wild life, cowboys, hunting, fishing, boating, swimming ...etc. are within 30 minutes. It is in dark sky country, you can see the Milky Way with your naked eyes from the back porch. I find peace and beauty in the surrounding landscape. The house is beautiful and comfortable inside out, fully equipped on 1800 SF.
