Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Let the sound of the bubbling stream lull you to sleep. Three bedrooms and a small fold out couch in the living room. The twin bed is a daybed/trundle which opens into a king.

Our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is located on a family compound of 8 acres, just a 5 minute walk into the heart of downtown Southwest Harbor. We are a 5 minute drive to an Acadia Park entrance, and 20 min drive to Bar Harbor. Close to restaurants, family activities, Echo Lake for swimming, and public transport. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. No pets.

Notice: All Airbnb fee's will be covered by your host. On the first floor you'll enjoy a new kitchen with everything you need. There is large stand up shower, a washer and dryer, and a cozy living room with wifi supported TV. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a queen bed. 2 Pets allowed.
