Inverness is the capital of the Highlands and gateway to the popular North Coast 500 route - the apartment is an ideal base to explore from.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Mid Nov - Mar we have a winter mode as the water can freeze.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Comfortable 2 bedrooms ground floor flat with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen (electric hob, compact fridge and microwave) and some lovely views to Carn Bren and Kyle of Sutherland. Local attractions include dolphin watching at Chanonry point, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club, Eathie fossils, several world famous distilleries and breweries and only 30mins from Loch Ness!

With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.
