The Dora Bruce Powell Room is a second-floor, quaint, large in-bath suite, with antique queen bed nested in a lighted alcove. The room offers a distant view of Downtown Spokane's city lights that can also be enjoyed from your Jacuzzi tub, overlooking a garden. The Rigby Suite, opened in fall 2013, is a larger suite, with 7' rain and jetted shower, wet bar, closet, and optional sleeping couch, so can accommodate three guests. It rents for $129/night. Wi-Fi is provided for guest use throughout the home, and each room has an HDTV with DVD player. Continental breakfast is available and included in the rooms' pricing, with coffee/tea bar, refrigerator, video library, and a common room open 24 hours a day, just down the hall. This home is within walking distance to downtown to the east (1 mile from Riverpark Square), and Browne's Addition's historic Cannon Circle restaurants, pub, pizzeria, and Tully's, to the west (3 blocks); only a few short blocks' walk from Artfest and Elkfest in spring, Coeur d'Alene Park's gazebo concerts in summer, and the Museum of Arts and Culture, and rests in the midst of countless admirable views for the jogger or cyclist (Centennial Trail, Overlook Park). Both the Susan B. Komen and Bloomsday races go right by the house. City transit bus is one block from the home, and if you are coming to Spokane for medical reasons, or for support for a loved one, it is located approximately one mile from Spokane's "hospital hill" Deaconess and Sacred Heart hospitals.
