Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. We have an apple orchard, garden, a fire pit, private hiking and mtn biking trails straight out of the backyard and into the national forest, along with a kids bike pump track. Luxurious amenities throughout the house along with vintage books, games, and record player. We welcome guests from all walks of life! Adventure awaits!

The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… Fly fishing, tubing , kayaking or just relaxing watching for wildlife that happens by is a great way to spend the day. Skiing, hiking, dining, wineries near by.

A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located in the mountains of Spruce Pine, NC. There isn’t a coffee shop on every corner, just a slower pace that we all need. Only 10 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway with Beautiful Overlooks and Hiking.. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located a 1/2 mile from the Toe River for fishing and kayaking. The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.

DUTCH RETREAT Grassy Mt Trail Little Switzerland

Mountain View, walking trails, water falls etc. Mineral Museum, Rock Capital of the world. The cabin was built several years ago. After I had discovered Little Switzerland and fell in love with the area. Richard my son and I built the cabin. My wife and I both work in a School system so we were able to spend all summer there and many weekends. So there not much time available to share the cabin. As we aged we use the cabin very little and decided other might enjoy it like we did.

Blue Ridge Parkway is still closed but clean up has begun. 4 wheel drive recommended in winter and flexible cancellation.
