This home is situated on 176 acres in a springtime maple syrup bush with beautiful towering maples and sap lines throughout. Feel free to enjoy the trails with your dog or bring your bicycle to go riding. Relax in the quiet yard that is a mix of sun and shade in the day or sit by the fire in the open firepit in the evening. The large screened-in porch is a great place to enjoy a meal or sit and play games. In the winter, bring your snowmobile and access the Snowmobile Trail from our property.

Come and enjoy our cozy waterfront 4 season cabin. It has all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. Full size kitchen (stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster & kettle) & bathroom (shower only). TV with a Firestick, there is no cable. There is WIFI. Sleeps 4. 1 queen bed on the main level & 2 single beds in the loft (ladder access only) Screened in porch with BBQ ( new in 2024) And a deck in front of the porch with more seating. Welcome to The Back 40. Nestled in the trees with views of the fields where wildlife roam and maple sugar bush, we welcome you. Experience country living in complete privacy, with all modern amenities of a newly renovated bungalow. Full bright open concept. One kingsized bed and one double sized bed. Large three piece bathroom, with walk-in shower. Office nook incase you really need to check in with the other side of life. We look forward to sharing life on our multi generational farm.

Come experience a relaxing getaway with family and friends! You can swim off the dock, great fishing, large yard for outdoor games and bonfires! You will have access to the entire camp, including all kitchen items, canoe, and both indoor and outdoor games. Three kayaks available with life jackets so you can tour the beautiful area. Like many other cottages, our water is lake fed so guests will need to bring bottled water. Fur babies welcome! Ensure they stay in the yard and watched.

A charming pine cottage right on Lake Huron. Located in an area of fascinating history and enjoyment on the water. Fabulous kayak destinations right outside the door. Have breakfast on the dock or at your private deck table with seating for six. Plenty of space at the dock to tie up your watercraft with boat launching right next door at Kensington Point Marina. The cottage water is fully filtered through an Ultra Violet light source which makes it 100% pure and drinkable out of the tap.

Birch Banks - Waterfront Family Cottage

When we decided to buy a cottage, we wanted something that brought us closer to nature, but didn’t want a house on the water. It had to have some rustic elements to it. With its vaulted knotty pine ceilings and walls, and windows looking out at the lake, we instantly fell in love. It doesn’t matter if it’s high summer floating on the lake, or Fall with the beautiful colours, it’s just a special place to be.

Captain's Quarters

Settle into a stay that’s as easy as its location. This quiet, motel-style suite sits next to the main house, steps from the Richards Landing marina. Park the car—everything is a short walk: beach, parks, restaurants, ice cream parlour, artisan shops, grocery store, pickleball courts, LCBO, and hospital. Clean, comfortable, and centrally located, it’s the perfect base to relax and explore.
