Neðribær is in a 2 apartment house with private entrance. Many activities in the area such as snowmobiling, glacier jeeps and glacier walk adventure on Europe´s largest glacier, kayaking, puffins tours, boat tours, ice cave tours (winter) and horseback riding. The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

An unique Tiny House, a compact living space for friends. It is part of the Historic Farmhouse, in a former Smithy. The House is opposite the Community Church and Graveyard. Close by the popular Berunes Restaurant, open from June to August ´26. The restaurant takes pride in serving an ever-changing menu inspired by local ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary journey during your stay.

My beloved tiny Home

My beloved tiny home is a modern and cosy studio space. It has floor heating, Philips Smart TV and a kitchen. The kitchen has a JURA coffee machine, a refrigerator, full size stove and a dishwasher. The studio is 33m2 and has one bedroom with one double bed (160cm) and one single bed (90cm). The space is 33m2 & has a private: entrance, kitchen bathroom and living room.

Cosy Apartment with Glacier View

A cute, one-bedroom apartment located close to the Hofn Viewpoint and stunning vistas across the fjord towards mountains and glaciers. The apartment is situated in the ground floor of a house containing three apartments. It is a short walk from the supermarket, the coastal path and the harbour area where most restaurants are located.

Húsin er staðsett um 3km frá Höfn, útsýni til fjalla og jökla. Tilvalin gisting fyrir fjölskyldur eða þá sem eru að ferðast saman. Húsin rúma fjóra fullorðna. Eitt barn yngra en 12 ára dvelur án greiðslu þegar notuð eru rúm sem eru til staðar. Frítt wifi er á staðnum.

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.
