It's a scenic 45-minute drive to Rochester. Head down the road and enjoy Lake Pepin. Bring your water toys and enjoy the day

Perched snuggly on the bluffside overlooking the Mississippi River, you'll see an ever-changing panorama of river boats, barges, and birds in flight against a backdrop of Minnesota bluffs in the distance and a jumble of rooftops below.

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.

Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds is probably the best part of the cabin. Attractive flower beds, large yard, spacious interior, pond, and creek. Back porch, front porch, and upper balcony. Great for a family getaway or a low-key long weekend away from the city.

This property is on the Lake City Golf Course and is very close to snowmobile trails, Hok-Si-La park Lake Pepin boat launch, it is on blacktop and Lakeview Drive is a beautiful place to take morning walks with spectacular views of the river/lake and bluffs. Enjoy the fire pit and walking trails on the property itself too.
