It is well located with a short walking distance to the local playground, the harbor and The Arctic Fox Centre. It only takes about 15 minutes to drive over to Ísafjörður, the "capital" of the Westfjords, where you can find grocery stores, a bakery, banks, gift shops and restaurants.
