Our cottage is located in an idyllic mountain setting surrounded by spectacular & breathtaking views. The 7 acre property boasts a serene pond stocked with koi, carp & gold fish that can be viewed from the wrap-around porch. It is conveniently located within close proximity to numerous options for dining and activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, & antiquing at local shops and flea markets. Thyme Cottage is perfect for couples, solo adventurers or anyone looking for tranquility.

Secluded and Private Catskills Cabin with a View

Modern cabin on the mountains of the western Catskills. There is a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, an assortment of books, board games, puzzles, and an indoor wood-burning stove. There is reliable, high-speed fiber-optic wifi. There is no TV. Note: In winter (Dec-March at least) you will NEED a vehicle with AWD or 4WD to reach the cabin. The final .75 mile of the drive is a dirt road with a couple of hills that could be difficult for an FWD vehicle to safely get up or down.

This minimal space features a wall of windows that makes you feel like you are sleeping in the trees, while staying cozy and dry. On over 20 acres of land , you can explore the beautiful landscape of water and woods. Just over the hill from Otsego Lake. Only 3.9 miles (8 min) to Cooperstown’s Main Street in the spring, summer and fall and 5.7 miles (10 min) in winter.
