Båthuset ligger i nærhet til kjente områder som Trollstigen, Geiranger, Aalesund og Atlanterhavsvegen. I nærområdet ligger alpinanleggene på Fjellsetra og Strandafjellet. Sunnmørsalpene er kjent for sit fantastiske turområde både sommer og vinter.

Det er også svært mange muligheter til toppturer for alle ferdighetsnivåer. Det er også muligheten til å leige en 16 fots fritidsbåt med 40hk. Denne befinner seg i Sykkylven Sentrum (20 min kjøring fra hytta). Her er det redningsvester og fiskeutstyr om det er interessant. Leige må forhandsbestilles en god stund før. Ta kontakt for pris.
