I'm an architect, and originally designed the studio as a workspace at the rear of our home for my photographer husband, Ian. We've recently converted it to a self-contained dwelling, so we can share what we love about the city. Studio Nico is located city side midway between the CBD and Newtown. Within walking distance. Hospital (10 mins), Massey University (3 mins), Basin Reserve (3 mins) and Te Papa (14 mins). We provide homemade muesli, cornflakes, milk, yoghurt and NZ seasonal fruits. For long term (1 week or more) guests an initial breakfast pack will be supplied.

A self contained studio room on the bottom floor of our home with a private entrance and self checkin Off road parking is available. We do not have full cooking facilities but offer tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, toaster, and fridge and provide a continental style breakfast. The studio is close to the city centre and on a direct bus route. Brooklyn Village is home to restaurants. cafes, a cinema, fast food outlets and a well stocked mini market.
