Or if you prefer the finer things in life, a hot tub overlooking the vines, air-conditioning inside, and much more.

The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Hunter Valley - "Outta Range" Rural Cabin

Your accommodation is set in the beautiful Congewai valley, close to the wineries of the Hunter Valley, the Hope Estate to catch that concert of choice, the Hunter Valley Gardens, Ballooning and many more activities. The historical town of Wollombi is a short country drive. We are only 400 metres to access a section of the Great North Walk where you can walk to the top of the mountain or further. Bring your mountain bikes to enjoy a quiet easy ride through this spectacular pastural valley.

Cosy up and unwind, or explore the broader Hunter Valley. The self contained cottage (converted servants quarters), is your own little oasis within the broader grounds of Berry House. Use the pool and sauna, explore the gardens, collect some farm fresh eggs, feed the sheep or just chill.

Three Rivers Rest, is a restored 100yr old house in the historical town of Dungog, in the Hunter Valley and base of the Barrington Tops. Close to The Common mountain bike tracks and a stroll to Dungog's emerging arts scene, historical James Theatre, Tin Shed Brewery, cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
