Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Escape to Callahan's Shore Thing, a rustic, modern, cozy cabin nestled on the water's edge of a gorgeous 2 acre lot with 100+ ft of lake frontage--minutes from downtown Hayward. You won't find a cabin this close to the water, we promise! Enjoy morning coffee on the spacious, multi-level deck, spend your days kayaking or fishing off our private pier, retreat to the seasonal bunkhouse to relax, or head out to our Musky Lounge to have a beer and play some cards with friends. This place has it all!

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Emerald Cottage on the Lake and on Trail Systems!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This fully renovated 3 bedroom house is the perfect getaway. Summertime, this is the best place to sip coffee on the deck or dock overlooking the lake, enjoy a bonfire on the patio, bring your boat to fish the lake or use the 2 complimentary kayaks to enjoy the lake. The cottage is within a couple miles of the Brule River and many wedding venues are close by. 55 minutes from Duluth, 57 minutes from Bayfield and 35 minutes to Ashland for more.

The Sunset Cabin

1950’s resort cabin brought back to life! The beautiful screened in porch looks to the west for some of the most gorgeous sunsets you’ll see anywhere. All is new and was completely remodeled in 2024. One bedroom has queen bed and the other has a full bed with a twin bed bunk. You’ll have your own dock for fishing, plus access to the shared lake toys:kayaks, floaties, fishing rods and tackle, row boats and a canoe. You’ll also have shared access to the sandy swimming beach and swimming raft.

Sylvan Chalet, Modern, Lakefront, Close to Trails

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. We have a NEMA 15-40R outlet for level 2 EV charging. You bring chord and adapter

Parking, Walk to Town, King Bed - The Cable Cabin

Locally owned and managed. Our cabin is tucked behind pines right on Highway 63 in Cable. Full off street, private parking w/ room for trailers and toys, plus full locked gear room in basement. Easy walking distance to everything in Cable. It can sleep 5-6, but makes a great space for 2-4. 3 mi from the Birkie start, 2.5 mi from the North End Cabin. ATV & Snowmobile right from the driveway. Full furnace for heat and central air conditioning for those hot summer days!

Berrywood Acres Cabin

Berrywood Acres is located on the eastern shores of Lake Nebagamon. We are known for beautiful sunsets with quiet surroundings and located minutes from the famous Brule River, great hiking trails nearby and a 35 minute drive from Duluth/Superior or a bit further east to the Bayfield/Ashland area. The cabin is simple with all you need for a little RnR. Come relax on the porch and enjoy the view. We look forward to welcoming you to Berrywood Acres Cabin!

Copper Falls Cabin sits on 80 acres directly adjacent to Copper Falls State Park near Mellen, WI. The renovated rural farmhouse features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Copper Falls State Park is right out your door, and places like Bayfield and the Apostle Islands National lakeshore are within an hour’s drive. This is your perfect basecamp to explore the South Shore of Lake Superior in both Wisconsin and the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
