There's a nice deck out back, shared with a separate 400 square foot suite than can increase accommodations to 8-10 people (see our separate listing Explorers Escape Plus for this option). Easy walk to Stumptown, Hellbender , Sirianni's, Wicked Wilderness. Short bike ride, hike or drive to Blackwater Falls. Nearby Thomas WV (top mountain town 2017) Canaan, Timberline, White Grass Skiing.

Only 5 minutes from Route 48, you can get to any location with ease, but still stay in the secluded woods.

Relax in a dog & kid-friendly restored 1901 farm house in Davis WV. Enjoy a charming, historic home in town, a 10 min. walk from restaurants, cafe, breweries, cocktail lounge, & hiking trails. There are nice views and good space for socializing. No loud parties, however. Enjoy the large table & bar. 5 minute drive to the Purple Fiddle & other amenities in Thomas, or to Blackwater Falls State Park. 15 min. drive to Canaan Valley.
