Mateo 39A at Nantahala Weddings - pets allowed

Pets allowed. $75 pet fee per pet. $150 penalty if you fail to indicate number of pets via "Guests" drop-down menu when you book. The Mateos are 4 small bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible.

Nantahala Lake is a beautiful and peaceful hidden gem in the heart of the Smokey Mountains. This cabin is cozy, quiet and quaint. Enjoy waking up in the morning and heading down to our dock to read and enjoy the majestic mountains and peaceful lake. Our deck is a perfect place to enjoy at sunset and to have a drink with family and friends. The porch swing is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon. It is a small rustic cabin of 1150 square feet but it can sleep up to 8.

The large windows maximize natural light to create a bright and airy atmosphere and a connection with the surrounding landscape. Warning: Ridgetop Drive is a steep gravel road - AWD/4WD is REQUIRED! Trail is similar to Appalachian trail stairs; walking shoes and good knees REQUIRED.
