You will find everything you need and more in this comfortable seaside retreat. Access to the beach is a short walk away. The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy. There is also a large back yard to play or relax in.

Enjoy sitting on the deck at this home watching the sunset in a tranquil private setting. You can hear the the lobster boats as they start out in the morning from Goose Cove. Great location for your Acadia National Park getaway: Only 5 minutes from Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, 3 miles away from one of the prettiest harbors in Maine, Bass Harbor, where you can enjoy lunch on the dock at Thurston's & Only 17 miles to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! A pond runs into a small creek in the back where you can sit around a large fire pit and gaze at all of nature’s wonder and beauty.

Drop Anchor is a 2 bedroom spacious residential home on the “Quietside” of Mount Desert island. You will be 5 minutes from Acadia National park. Bass Harbor headlight, Ship Harbor, Wonderland, and Seawall picnic area. Bar harbor is a 20 minute drive. Nearby is Archies lobster pound, Hansen’s seaside takeout (both walkable) and by car Thurstons lobster pound. And Seafood ketch. There are many other options in the neighboring town of Southwest Harbor.

Hulls Cove Hideaway.

Located about a 1/4 from groomed X-country ski trails. Thank you for considering the Hideaway for you stay. The house is well equipped for your comfort. Located near the Hulls Cove park entrance and beach. The calendar does reflect availability, please believe the calendar, if it won't let you book the dates you are looking for that does mean it is not available. We are dog friendly, however we do not accept cats for allergic reasons.
